ZeroAvia is a company focused on innovative solutions in the aerospace industry. The Quality Control Inspector role is part of ZA’s Quality team, supporting audits and supplier evaluations in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary, receiving, in‑process, and final inspections of aircraft components.
- Conduct incoming inspections of purchased parts and materials.
- Interpret engineering drawings and approved design data.
- Use a wide range of measuring and inspection tools.
- Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Develop and maintain quality inspection processes.
- Verify and review supplier‑submitted documentation.
- Document inspection results through inspection plans and reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Conduct supplier source inspections, including international travel.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in aerospace final inspection.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in final inspection of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102.
- Proven experience with First Article Inspections (FAI).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience with inspection and test equipment.
- Knowledge of special processes and NADCAP requirements.
- Experience with ERP and quality systems.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
